Monumento Cabo de Hornos (Cape Horn Monument) is a monument located in the city of Punta Arenas, Chile. It symbolizes the end of the world and the legendary stormy seas and winds of Cape Horn, one of the most challenging and dangerous navigation routes in the world. The monument is a bronze sculpture of an albatross bird with its wings spread, installed on a stone base. It was created by the Chilean sculptor Jose Balcells and inaugurated in 1992.
